How can I get support in my Moodle course?

How can I get support in my Moodle course?

Step One: In your course, there are three places you can access support when you need it. The first is course support on the left side navigation. If you have any questions about the course, you can contact eDGH in two ways listed here. Each method has a different purpose. If you have technical support questions, please email edgh@uw.edu and we will respond within 24 to 48 hours.

Step Two: You can post a question to the course content questions forum. This forum is for general questions about course content. The TA will monitor the discussion board and provide feedback. Participants can also respond to each other in this forum, which is a great way to help each other. Click on content questions forum. You will be taken to this screen, then click Reply. Then you are able to type your question in the textbox.

Step Three: The second place is frequently asked questions, or FAQs, on the left side navigation. This page has questions and answers to commonly asked questions related to assignments, quizzes, course format, discussion forums, assignments and technical support.Look here before emailing eDGH as you may find the answer to your question.

Step Four: There is also a Participant Support section in the course. The Participant Support section contains two sections, General Support and Job Aids. General support has pages on topics ranging from technical requirements, plagiarism information, and how to be successful in online courses.

Step 5: The Job Aids section includes topics on how to perform various tasks in Moodle, like post to discussion forum, complete a quiz, submit an assignment and view grades. These pages provide useful screenshots detailing how to do these tasks, some with videos
