Logging in with the Moodle app

With the Moodle app, you can learn wherever you are, whenever you want, with these app features:

  1. Easily access course content: browse the content of your courses, even when offline
  2. Connect with course participants: quickly find and contact other people in your courses
  3. Keep up to date: receive instant notifications of messages and other events, such as assignment submissions
  4. Submit assignments: Upload images, audio, videos and other files from your mobile device. Please note, you will need access to an Internet connection to upload assignments.
  5. Track your progress: View your grades, check completion progress in courses and browse your learning plans
  6. Complete activities anywhere, anytime: attempt quizzes, post in forums, etc.


Follow these instructions to get up and running with the Moodle app

  1.  Download the app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Tap here for the iOS version, or tap here for the Android version. 
  2. Once installed, open the Moodle app on your device.
  3. The first screen will ask for your Moodle site URL. This is the web address of the eDGH Moodle site. Enter the URL: https://learn.edgh.uw.edu/



  4. After entering the site URL, you'll be directed to the eDGH Moodle login page. Enter your email address and password.



  5. Permissions: The app may request permission to access certain features on your device (e.g., notifications, storage). Grant the necessary permissions to ensure the app functions correctly.
  6. Once logged in, you will see the dashboard with your courses and other available resources.

Troubleshooting Tips

Incorrect URL: Ensure that you have the correct URL. Double-check with us if you’re unsure.
Invalid Credentials: If your username or password is not recognized, vemail us to verfify they are correct.
Internet Connection: Ensure you have a stable internet connection while trying to log in.
App Version: Make sure you have the latest version of the Moodle app installed.
